The lab can assess the tooth and surrounding base.

05Assessment required

Broken partial or clasp

Damage to a partial denture, clasp or denture tooth.

Repair options depend on the material and extent of damage.

06Call to discuss

Loose fit or adjustment

A denture feels loose or uncomfortable.

Before any work starts

You get the price first.

We look at the denture, say what it needs and what it costs, and wait for your yes. If the honest answer is that it's beyond saving, we say that too, rather than charging for a repair that won't hold.

Call to discuss an assessment and estimate.

What changes the price

  • How many teeth are involved
  • Whether the base is split right through or only cracked
  • Acrylic partial, or a metal framework that needs soldering
  • Whether adhesive has already been used on the break
  • Whether a section has to be rebuilt because a piece is missing

A note on adhesive

Please don't super-glue it before you come in.

Avoid attempting a repair with household glue. Keep the denture and any fragments together and ask the lab how to bring them in.

Ready when you are

Tell us what broke and we'll tell you what it takes.

Describe the break on the phone and you'll get a straight answer on whether it's a same-day repair, a longer job, or beyond saving.
